Sell-through rate
Definition
Sell-through rate is the share of items put up for sale in a show that actually sold. An item that gets no bid, or is pulled, counts against it.
High sell-through with a low ASP means the room is buying but the pricing is cautious. Low sell-through with a high ASP means the host is overshooting the room. Hosts adjust by changing starting bids, bundling slow items into lots, or moving dead stock to buy it now.
