Overview

Ghost Agent is a livestream intelligence service operated by Monster Agency, a digital marketing agency. It watches the public TikTok and Whatnot livestreams you choose to follow, your own shows and your competitors', and turns each broadcast into a report covering chat, engagement, sales signals, and coaching or market-intelligence takeaways.

This privacy policy explains what data Ghost Agent collects, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and what rights you have. It applies to the Ghost Agent application at ghostagent.ai.

Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to account holders: people who sign up for Ghost Agent and use it to watch livestreams. Ghost Agent only observes public livestream broadcasts on TikTok and Whatnot for the handles you add to your watch list. We do not log in to, or access private data from, any seller or viewer account, and we do not require the sellers being watched to be Ghost Agent customers.

Data we collect from account holders

When you create an account or use Ghost Agent, we collect:

  • Name and email address, for account identification and to send your reports
  • Authentication identifiers (a magic-link or Google OAuth session token)
  • The watch targets you add: the TikTok and Whatnot handles you want to track, and whether each is your own brand or a competitor
  • Your plan, subscription status, and billing identifiers from our payment processor
  • Usage and activity logs (which shows were captured, reports generated, and timestamps) so we can operate the service and support you

Data we capture from public livestreams

When a handle on your watch list goes live publicly, Ghost Agent joins the broadcast and records the signals the platform shows to any viewer:

  • Public chat messages and the engagement shown during the stream (viewer counts, likes, gifts)
  • Sales signals the broadcast makes public, such as items sold, units, and displayed prices
  • Products featured and the timing of key moments in the show

We use this to generate your reports. We only capture what is publicly visible to viewers of the livestream. We do not capture or store video, and we do not collect private or non-public information about individual viewers.

How we use data

Ghost Agent uses the data above to:

  • Authenticate you and keep your workspace and reports scoped to your account
  • Watch your chosen handles and capture their public livestreams when they go live
  • Generate coaching reports on your own shows and market-intelligence reports on competitors
  • Deliver those reports in the app and by email, and answer follow-up questions you ask about a show
  • Process your subscription and provide support

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to profile individual viewers or to train third-party advertising models.

Data we do not collect

Ghost Agent does not store your full payment-card numbers (these are handled by our payment processor), government IDs, biometric data, precise location data, or health-related data. We do not use cookies for cross-site tracking; the only cookies set are short-lived session and CSRF cookies required for authentication.

How we share data

We do not sell or rent your data. Limited disclosures we may make:

  • Service providers we use to run Ghost Agent: Supabase (authentication and database), Railway (hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), and Anthropic (the AI that turns captured shows into reports). Each is contractually required to handle data only as needed to provide their service.
  • Legal compliance: if required by valid legal process, we will disclose the minimum data necessary and notify the affected party where legally permitted.

Data retention

Account data and activity logs are retained while your account is active, plus up to 12 months for audit and support. Captured livestream signals and the reports generated from them are retained while your subscription is active so you can compare shows over time. When you delete your account or request deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days.

Your rights

You may at any time:

  • Access the data Ghost Agent holds about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data we hold about you.
  • Delete data we hold about you (see the next section).
  • Export your reports and account data on request.

Data deletion

To request deletion of your data, email hello@ghostagent.ai with the subject "Ghost Agent data deletion request," or delete your account from your settings. We will confirm receipt and complete deletion of your personal data within 30 days.

Security

Ghost Agent transmits all data over HTTPS. Credentials and tokens are stored encrypted at rest and are never exposed to the browser. Authentication uses single-use magic links delivered to your verified email address, or Google sign-in.

Children's privacy

Ghost Agent is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Third-party platforms

Ghost Agent observes public broadcasts on TikTok and Whatnot. Those platforms, and the sellers who broadcast on them, are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Ghost Agent is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by TikTok or Whatnot.

International data transfers

Ghost Agent is hosted in the United States. By using the application you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. We comply with applicable data protection regulations, including the GDPR for EU-based users and the CCPA for California residents.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy as Ghost Agent's features evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated to active users by email.
